As a (Sr.) Development Engineer you contribute to the development of products by designing, creating and testing sub-systems within the restrictions imposed by system specifications, costs and planning considerations.

Job Description

• Specifies and designs the modules and/or functionality to realize the required performance.
• Uses state of the art design methods to ensure adequate designs that can be realized from a technical and supply chain perspective.
• Drives the qualification of the design by contributing to the specification of various tests, design and realization of test equipment.
• Is responsible for ensuring that prototypes are built and tests are carried out.
• Is responsible for the technical product documentation needed to drive the design into production.
• As senior design engineer, you typically coach design engineers and are responsible for a larger module, a more integral solution.
  
  Educational Level
  Bachelor or Masters degree, graduated in relevant engineering discipline (Electrical Engineering, Mechanics, Mechatronics, Physics).
  
  Experience
  Seniority is based on years of experience in relevant functions and proven track record.
  
  Personal Skills:
  Good ability to communicate and work together with experts in other disciplines, project managers etc (Outstanding teamplayers that stand out in their discipline).
